Rambling Roads

June 15, 2017

Today James and Doug are in Virginia watching their cousin Colwin graduate from Westfield High School. They flew to VA last night on a direct flight to Dulles; much nicer for everyone because it's close to Janet's house.  Erin and Colwin picked them up at the airport around midnight. Today has been leisurely since the graduation didn't start until 7:30 p.m.

Lisa is in Tetonia, Idaho, attending Adventures for Youth (AFY) with her cousin Gabby.  Dave and I delivered them to BYUI on Monday in a drenching rainstorm.

AFY Camp in Tetonia.

Weather the day AFY started.

Then we drove to Jackson and spent one night and visited Grand Teton National Park in the rain/snow.  The Tetons were covered in clouds so we never did see them.  We stayed at a Bed & Breakfast called the Inn on the Creek. It was nice, but a little pricey.

Tuesday morning we drove home via Bear Lake and stopped in Harrisville to see my parents.
Before leaving Jackson we spent a little time in Grand Teton National Park. We still couldn't see the mountains.

Happy Campers at Rexburg getting picked up.
Melanie and I enjoyed our drive to Rexburg to see our cute girls.  Lisa and Gabby had a fantastic time and cried because they were leaving their new friends.

James and Doug returned from VA Saturday morning and James completed his night flying Saturday night into Sunday.
