Wedding Bells

Aaron and Summer got married on July 29, 2017 in the Payson Temple.  The sealing room was beautiful and the couple looked lovely.

After the post wedding pictures, we drove from Payson to American Fork for the wedding luncheon.  It was held in an old meeting house called the Northampton House.  The building was lovely and the food was delicious. The cousins sat at a table together and had a great time entertaining each other by eating M&Ms and drinking lemonade shots with the party favor shot glasses.

Guests had a choice of chicken or pork, green beans, salad, mashed potatoes, and rolls.
The dessert was chocolate cake drizzled with caramel and garnished with strawberries.

After the lunch, the parents of the bride and groom toasted their children.

I think Aaron was a tiny bit jealous that he couldn't play with the rest of the cousins.

These kids went through three pitchers of lemonade.

There were a few more pictures after the lunch and then we traveled home for our much needed rest.  Matt and Melanie left their dog at her parents' home in Sandy, so the kids brought the dog to our house to play while we rested.

Cake anyone?

The reception was held in Eagle Mountain at Garden Near the Green.  It was very nice, but we were tired.  We brought some card games and hung out outside for a while because we had met our social quota.

Where there is family, there is food and fun!

Summer and Aaron left the reception by running through a line of guests holding sparklers.  The rest of us packed up the gifts and decorations and went home.  It was a beautiful day and we are very happy that Aaron and Summer are finally married!
